IntelliDrive is an app developed by Travelers Insurance that helps people save money on their car insurance policy during their first term.

Once the app is installed into a smartphone, it will monitor the habits and performance of the driver for 90 days. During the renewal process, a driver may save up to 30% or, in some cases, may face higher premiums depending on their driving performance.

How IntelliDrive Works

The app will measure the performance of a driver based on the following aspects:

Time of Day

The time of day when you choose to drive may affect your score, so try sticking to the morning or early evening, if possible.

Speed

The app will determine an average of how fast you are going. The faster you drive, the lower your score will be.

Acceleration

If you accelerate smoonthly while driving, your score will increase!

Braking

The app can determine how smoothly you brake, as well. If you are constantly starting and stopping it will show you are following the car in front of you too closely.

SAVE on your premium depending on your score.
