Stackt Market
Sponsored by Adidas, Stackt Market will be hosting the “Home of Soccer.” This is an outdoor viewing area at Toronto’s notorious shipping-container marketplace. This industrial market consists of coffee shops, trendy stores and restaurants, and, for the World Cup, it transforms into the biggest Football hub in the city. With multiple 13.5′ by 24′ screens for every match of the tournament from June 11 to July 19, there will also be on-site activations and an Adidas retail pop-up. Stackt Market is open every day except Mondays and opens at 11 am.
Entry to the area will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and no advance sign-up will be required.
RendezViews
Hosted right in the heart of downtown Toronto, the World Cup will be displayed on a massive screen at RendezViews on Richmond Street. RendezView is a popular patio that hosts watch parties and serves delicious food and drinks, making it the perfect spot to watch the World Cup.
Unlike Stackt Market’s event, RendezViews hosts its parties on a first-come, first-served basis. On top of this, there will be a link on their website to RSVP for the guest list. It is important to keep in mind that the guest list does not necessarily guarantee seating. You should arrive early!
Entry to the RendezViews viewing party is free, though there is a table fee and a minimum spend. For more information and a full list of matches, check out their website here!
