4. Race!

The Vintage Grand Prix in Bowmanville is a great option for dads who love cars! This amazing display of both closed and open-wheel race cars is a great way to preview some vintage cars. Running from June 14th to 16th, the Vintage Grand Prix will also include the Field of Dreams Car Show and the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship. 

5. See a live show

Witness an exciting live circus performance at Cirque du Soleil’s ECHO this Father’s Day. Featuring comedy, live acrobatics, and music, ECHO is a fun and exciting way to enjoy Father’s Day with the whole family. The big top is located in Etobicoke, and this show is sure to make for a memorable Father’s Day.

6. Watch some live music

The 16th marks the last day of NXNE, meaning there is going to be an influx of live music shows all around the city! 7. Watch a live sporting event

On June 17th and 18th, Ontario Family Fishing Events is running a province-wide event where Canadian residents can fish without a license. This is an amazing opportunity to make memories with the whole family, especially if Dad is a big fishing fan. This event is being run province-wide all Father’s Day weekend, which makes it the perfect Father’s Day event. 

10. Check out the aquarium

If you haven’t been to Ripley’s aquarium, now is the perfect time to do so! Enjoy the sights of over 20,000 aquatic animals and North America’s longest underwater viewing tunnel. This is the perfect activity to bring the whole family along to. Extended hours take place on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 11 pm.

11. Watch an air show!

Travel down to the beautiful Kempenfelt Bay in Barrie, Ontario to view its iconic aircraft performances! Taking place from 8-10 pm on Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday, this is the perfect Father’s Day activity! This year’s show is particularly special, as it marks the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force!
